Sainsbury's Supermarket - Richmond

If you're searching for a reliable and well-organized shopping experience in Richmond, look no further than Sainsbury's Supermarket. Nestled along Lower Richmond Road, this branch stands out for its thoughtful layout and engaging staff. With a contact number of (208) 876-9554, you'll find everything from pantry staples to delicacies all under one roof.

  • Modern and Spacious: The supermarket offers a roomy environment that allows for comfortable browsing. Although the parking lot can be busy, the interior remains spacious, allowing you to shop without feeling crowded.
  • Diverse Product Range: Customers appreciate the extensive selection available, which includes everything from fresh produce to household essentials. While some reviews mentioned a lack of premium fruit and vegetable options, the store excels in other categories.
  • Customer Service: The staff's friendliness is a highlight here. One customer emphasized the value of personal interactions, stating that service quality sets this store apart from competitors.
  • Offers Gastronomic Delights: On your shopping trip, keep an eye out for enticing offers. Whether you're in the market for Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka at £25 or Sainsbury's Soft White Cheese at £2.2, there’s something for every taste and budget.
  • Bakery Excellence: A standout feature is the bakery, which many reviewers claim rivals even premium establishments. If baked goods are your weakness, you won't be disappointed.

However, like any establishment, Sainsbury's Richmond is not without its criticisms. Some customers have pointed out that certain sections, like the plants, could use more attention. It’s essential for the management to strike a balance between corporate policy and customer satisfaction, particularly regarding pricing on neglected goods.

Overall, Sainsbury's Supermarket in Richmond presents a commendable shopping experience. The combination of attentive staff, a well-stocked inventory, and a clean, modern environment makes it a favorite among locals. Whether you're grabbing essentials or indulging in a few treats from their bakery, this Sainsbury's location is well worth a visit.

Seems some of the staff have been "pulled-up" for interacting with customers ! This is a shame, as with a world of competitive pricing between companies you look for a differentiating factor. The friendliness and helpfulness of some of the staff at this branch certainly is that difference and a reason to come here and not a competitor. If the aim is to take away that second chat (whilst they are still working, I might add) then it becomes "any other shop" and as any other shop I may as well be in, "any other shop". Pleanty of choice round here.Think carefully Sainsburys Marked down to TWO stars

Generally I’m happy with Sainsbury’s.However, on this day I noticed most of the plants they were selling were neglected.I asked if they would be willing to drop the price for this to which they advised they wouldn’t reduce the prices. If any plants do not sell, they would be disposed of. Corporations would rather waste food/goods than reduce costs to make them more affordable due to corporate greed.

This is an excellent Sainsbury's, and an excellent supermarket. It's clean, modern, has plenty of product selection, staff are always helpful and it's never that busy in the day. I love how well organised the shelves are, staff do well here, and the store layout is very good and easy. Great location, parking and petrol station. Starbucks and Argos is also a bonus. My favourite place for shopping now in Richmond. Outstanding bakery and bread selection.

As far as large mid range supermarkets go this is a pretty well stocked, decent branch. There’s a definite lack of premium products particularly on the fruit and vegetable side. However you’ll get good deals on household items such as kitchen rolls, loo rolls and mineral water. Their bakery is superior to the premium Waitrose which is definitely on the slide.
